Meizu
Meizu has a bit of a reputation for copying other devices, namely the iPhone. So when CEO Jack Wong announced that the new M9 will boast a screen resolution of 960 x 640, the same as Apple’s Retina display, familiar red flags were raised. Wong also iterated that the device will feature a heavily customized version of Android 2.2, and is anticipating it will be released by the end of this yearm and with demo units landing in October. We’re hoping the M9 will be more than just an iPhone clone, and will in fact serve as an example for more manufacturers to strive for better displays.

BoyGeniusReport has been informed that T-Mobile may be upping the ante with a new Android phone. A new Motorola phone, codenamed ‘Jordan’ , has been set for release sometime in November on T-Mobile.
The Motorola Jordan is not only a rugged handset, but may actually be waterproof down to 10 meters, or 33 feet. An Android phone made by Motorola that may be waterproof just seems… catchy?

On the desktop version this can consist of keyword searches on Twitter, feeds of all your various social networking accounts, or even specifics like photo or wall feeds on Facebook.
It has been a long time coming, but TweetDeck for Android is finally upon us, albeit in beta form. The company affirms they have built the application from the ground up, allowing them to retain the use of columns, but changing the way they function in order to optimize their use on the mobile platform. The Xperia X10 Mini has been awarded the UK’s highest wireless honor: “Best European Mobile Phone 2010-2011″ from the European Imaging and Sound Association. For all of you HTC Wildfire users out there that have been anxiously awaiting root access, your wait is finally over…kinda. A method has been released from the great folks over at XDA which gives the Wildfire a “soft” root, meaning that although NAND unlock and custom ROMs are not possible, root-only apps like wireless tether are good to go.
